The service

Scruffnote helps owners organize pet documents, dates, contacts, care details, and downloadable care packets. It does not provide veterinary advice, verify medical records, book appointments, replace original clinic records, or replace official travel documents.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information you enter, confirming dates with qualified professionals, keeping your login secure, reviewing anything you share, and having permission to upload the files you provide. Do not upload illegal, harmful, or malicious content.

Service availability

Features may change, contain errors, or be temporarily unavailable. Use the download feature to keep an extra copy of important records. Scruffnote should not be your only source of information during an emergency.

Plans and payments

Plan limits are shown before account creation and in account settings. Paid plan access begins only after payment is confirmed. Complimentary access does not start a paid subscription automatically. Renewal terms and any applicable price are presented before checkout.

Ending an account

You may delete your account from Settings. We may suspend access for abuse, security threats, illegal activity, or serious violations of these terms.

Warranty and liability

The service is provided as available. To the extent permitted by law, Scruffnote is not responsible for decisions made from owner-entered information, missed appointments, expired records, recipient actions, or losses caused by relying on the service as medical or emergency guidance.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the product changes. Material updates will be presented before they apply. Questions can be sent from Backup & help after signing in, or through the support page if account access is the problem.
