What is Scruffnote?
Scruffnote is a private, owner-controlled home for pet documents, vaccination dates, contacts, care details, insurance information, and downloadable care packets.
Do I need my veterinarian to use it?
No. You add the records you already have. Scruffnote does not require a clinic subscription or a connection to veterinary software.
Are my files saved online?
Yes. Signed-in accounts use private cloud storage, so your wallet can reopen on another supported device. Optional backups let you keep an extra copy.
Can I upload several pages together?
Yes. Group up to 20 PDFs or JPG and PNG photos into one labeled document record, then reorder or add pages later.
Can I take document photos on my phone?
Yes. On supported mobile browsers, the upload flow can open your camera. You can also choose existing photos or PDFs.
Does Scruffnote send reminders?
Scruffnote shows upcoming and overdue dates inside your wallet and can export calendar reminders. It does not currently send background email or push alerts.
Can I share records?
You can build and download a care packet containing only the records you select, then send it using your preferred method.
Does Scruffnote verify medical or insurance information?
No. Scruffnote organizes owner-entered information and original files. Confirm medical dates and coverage with the appropriate veterinarian or insurer.
What happens if I cancel?
You can download a complete backup and delete your account from Settings. Paid renewal and cancellation terms are shown before checkout.
